- Active Voice
In the active voice, Something action is the subject
of the sentence and something that receives the action is the object. Most
sentences in English is an active sentence.
[Subject / Something action] + [Verb / verb] + [Object
/ Something accept measures]
For example:
The teacher (Subject) teachs (Verb) the students
(Object)
- Passive Voice
In the passive voice, something that receives the
action is the subject of the sentence and something action (optional, can be
written or not) written near the end of a sentence. We can use the passive form
if we think that something that receive merukanan actions that are more
important or should be emphasized to the listener. we can also use the passive
form if we do not know who is doing the action or if we do not want to mention
who is doing the action.
[Something that receives the action] + [be] + [past
participle (verb 3) of the verb] + [by] + [something actions]
For example:
The students (Subject) are (be) taught (verb3) by the
teacher.
